Here is a case of the good just keeps on getting better. Every year there are a couple of cases that I just have to pick up. A case of Punkin’ Ale in the fall time. A nice refreshing wheat beer in the late spring/early summer time. And a Winter Classics case from Sam Adams in December.
They typically change a couple of the styles in case up a bit, and this year they have it right:
- Boston Lager
- Winter Lager
- Holiday Porter
- Old Fezziwig Ale
- Chocolate Bock
- Black & Brew
If you haven’t tried some of these, be sure to pick up a case. Boston Lager is available year-round, though the rest are winter only styles. My favorite seasonal beer, Old Fezziwig Ale, is only able to be purchased in this form. So I only get to enjoy 4 bottles a year .. The Chocolate Bock has a rich velvety chocolate taste that is almost like the dessert beer equivalent of a port. My wife enjoyed the Black & Brew which utilizes 1.5 lbs of coffee beans in each barrel. Let me know your favorite!
